#MyFamilyAdventures – January / Janvier

It has been a busy start to 2017!

Prompted by KA’s new blog link-up over at Life As Our Little Family, I started looking back at last month’s posts and photos, and wow! – we had a fun-packed January, with lots of time spent outdoors as a family, some elusive noodles, and more than a fair bit of hiking.

Exploring together, on adventures big and small, defines us and brings us closer, sharing experiences and creating memories. That’s the idea anyway!

So here is our January round-up of family adventures. Hopefully this will become a monthly occurrence for the rest of the year, and beyond.

Great Sugar Loaf

… when the acorns climbed the most iconic summit of the Wicklow Mountains on the second day of the year.

… why the acorns never tire of exploring the magnificent gardens of Powerscourt EstateWhatever the weather, or the season.

… when the acorns spent an afternoon exploring the wetlands of the East Coast Nature Reserve in the most beautiful golden light.

… when we took a stroll through the woods, only to race back down to our car before the car park’s closing time.

… how the acorns, on a quest for our very own base camp, built their first ever home in nature.
