#MySundayPhoto – Birthday / Anniversaire
It was Pebbles’ birthday last week.
It all started with a surprise breakfast, complete with a homemade card and birthday candle, which Jedi and Mermaid lovingly prepared while Pebbles was still getting dressed upstairs.
On coming home in the afternoon, Squirrel made his own surprise feast for his partner in crime. He had me light the candle once again, before proudly carrying the heavy tray to the kitchen table, where they both devoured fresh fruit and honey on toast.
This being the warmest day of the year so far, his birthday dinner was served al fresco. Pebbles then opened his presents with shrieks of delight, before playing with his new toys in the garden.
He went to sleep with a smile on his gorgeous little face, sated with love.
We are family.
Caillou vient de fêter son anniversaire.
Tout a commencé par un petit déjeuner surprise, avec une carte faite maison et une bougie d’anniversaire à souffler, le tout préparé en secret par Jedi et Sirène comme Caillou finissait de s’habiller à l’étage.
De retour à la maison en début d’après-midi, Ecureuil a voulu recréer la surprise pour son complice de toutes les aventures. Il m’a fait allumer la bougie d’anniversaire, avant d’emporter fièrement le lourd plateau jusqu’à la table, où ils ont dévoré tous les deux un festin de fruits frais et de tartines de miel.
En ce jour le plus chaud de l’année, le dîner d’anniversaire fut servi en terrasse. Puis Caillou ouvrit ses cadeaux avec des cris de joie, avant de jouer dans le jardin avec ses nouveaux jouets.
Il s’est endormi ce soir-là avec le sourire, repu d’amour.
Nous sommes famille.
